Told me that if i didn't pay an oustanding debt that he was going to call local police to come and arrest me. He also wanted my corporate office number to let them be aware of me being arrested.

Went to voicemail and it just had the end of the recording saying the number to call back. I called back and it said "Thank you for your interest in our credit card program. Unfortunately our program is not active at this time. Please call back at a later date." I haven't applied for a credit card or anything? And it doesn't say a company either. WEIRD!!

Wanted my information andcouldn't find me by name or address. Then asked for my social security number. Of course I didn't give it to him.

I got the same type of call as reported by Kathy on 28JUN10; except I ignored it at first. I called it back and the ladt who answered was evasive and wouldnt answer any questions. She attempted to transfer me so I hung up. I got called back a minute later. The woman caller made herself sound knowledgable, but was snippy making snide comments. During the conversation she says she is from DCS and is collecting for Texaco. Per my states laws I recorded the conversation and let her know I was doing so. The debt she claims to be collecting for goes back 12 years. I used to work debt collection and let her know that I am familiar with the FDCPA and that their collection practices do not align with the law. I also informed her not to call me again.

they are sending mean things about my friends saying that someone said this and someone said that calling friends by name things dont eat lunch with them ect. i dont know if it is a scam person watching us or bmean girl AHHHHHHHH it's bothering sooooo much!

Called at dinner time, left no message. I screen all numbers that are not in my CID address book. If an unknown won't talk to the machine, I figure they don't really want to talk to me!

call continuation from the caller stating, "this call is for,will accept".

iwas interested in what the guy had to say... i told him that i could not pay anything till tomorrow... and he hung up on me. it very rude to do that, i mean i was setting something up and e just hung up on me... either call me back. i mean it wouls have been less that 24 hrs, and he hung up on me.... i have his name and location saved in my computer. call me when you can get a less rude saaociate on the phone and i can proceed with the spill. i had set this up on the internet and had been expecting his call... i am angry, now that he wont let me proceed. CALL ME BACK... i am trying to get into school

Outrageous, huh? I get half a dozen calls each day, sometimes with no response at all when answered, they left messages at first about the "important business matter". Now they just hang up. Never have I had ANY card or account with Macy's/Bon/Bloomingdales or any of the Federated stores or its associate companies. Done the online research and I dunno exactly ya'll, but somethin definitely aint right. (variety of numbers over the last 2 months). I sure wont shop there. If its them, they should be held accountable- if its not, their legal team should have shut it down long ago. Make your complaints people; then vote with your dollars, take it somewhere else.
